It has been revealed that Timur Miroshnychenko, Zlata Ognevich and Kateryna Pavlenko will host Vidbir 2023.
The Ukrainian broadcaster Suspilne has announced that Timur Miroshnychenko, Zlata Ognevich and Kateryna Pavlenko will be the hosts of Vidbir 2023.
The hosts will be familiar to Eurovision fans. Timur Miroshnychenko has been Ukraine’s commentator at the contest since 2007, and hosted the show in 2017. He has also been rumoured to be one of the hosts of next year’s contest along with Masha Efrosinina. Meanwhile, Zlata represented Ukraine in the contest in 2013 with her song “Gravity”, which finished in 3rd place, and Kateryna represented the country in 2020 and 2021 as the lead singer of Go_A. The group finished 5th in the 2021 contest with their entry “Shum”.
When discussing her involvement in this year’s selection, Kateryna commented:
“This year will be a special national selection, and I am glad that I was invited to be a part of this unique event… I am waiting for a song that will properly represent our country and once again show the whole world that we are a strong and indomitable nation that, despite everything, is fighting for its place on the European stage and showing good results there”
Meanwhile, Timur echoed Kateryna’s excitement by commenting that this year’s edition of Vidbir will be “one of the coolest selections in [Ukraine’s] history”.
The final of Vidbir 2023 will be broadcasted live from Kyiv on December 17 at 16:00 CET.

- Tember Blanche — “Ya vdoma” (I’m home)
- TVORCHI — “Heart Of Steel”
Vidbir 2023
The final of Vibdir 2023 is set to take place on the 17th of December 2022 in Kyiv at the Maidan Nezalezhnosti metro station. The winner of the final will represent Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in the United Kingdom. The winner will be chosen by a combination of public voting and a jury.
The three members of the jury were chosen by the public. The jury members are:
- Taras Topolya – Lead singer of Antitila
- Jamala – Winner of Eurovision 2016
- Yulia Sanina – Frontwoman of The Hardkiss
