Five of the ten New Artists competing in this year’s Festivali i Këngës have advanced to Thursday’s grand final.
During the 2nd night of Festivali i Këngës 61, five of the ten New Artists competing in this year’s festival were selected by a jury to advance to the final night. The artists who will continue to the final are:
- Manjola Nallbani – “Dua”
- Erma Mici – “Kozmosi i dashurisë”
- Urban Band – “Në çdo hap”
- Gent Hoxha – “Ajër”
- Vanesa Sono – “Aroma jonë”
The five New Artists who have been eliminated from the competition are:
- Anduel Kovaçi – “Malli”
- Sara Kapo – “Para teje”
- Luna Çausholli – “Jetën ta fal”
- Permit of Stay – “Fobia”
- Arsi Bako – “Sonte dua të jem me ty”
The five qualifiers from tonight’s show will join the following sixteen Big Artists in Thursday’s final:
- Enxhi Nasufi – “Burrë”
- Fabian Basha – “Një gotë”
- Fifi – “Stop”
- 2 Farm – “Atomike”
- Rezarta Smaja – “N’Eden”
- Albina & Familja Kelmendi – “Duje”
- Sergio Hajdini – “Vështirë”
- Rovena Dilo – “Motit”
- Melodajn Mancaku – “Gjysma e zemrës sime”
- Gjergj Kaçinari – “Dje”
- Franc Koruni – “Në pritje”
- Petrit Çarkaxhiu – “Emri yt mirësi”
- Elsa Lila – “Evita”
- Evi Reçi – “Ma kthe”
- Manjola Nallbani – “Dua”
- Lynx – “Nëse ke besim”
- Alban Kondi & Lore – “Melodi”
The results of this year’s Festivali i Këngës will be determined by a jury vote, who will award the following three prizes:
- First, Second and Third in the jury vote
- First for young artists and alternative groups
- First for established artists
However, this year for the first time the winner of the jury vote will not automatically be offered the chance to represent Albania at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest. This will be decided by a separate public vote.
