Today: 🇦🇹 Austria & 🇮🇱 Israel Reveal Their Eurovision 2023 Entries

Today Austria and Israel will reveal the songs that will represent them at the 67th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool, United Kingdom.

The key times for today are:

Teya & Salena will reveal “Who the hell is Egdar”, the Austrian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 this morning. Teya and Salena are the first female duo ever to represent Austria at Eurovision. The Austrian broadcaster ORF decided to once again internally select both their singer and song for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, continuing the method used since 2017.

“Who the hell is Edgar” was written and composed by Teodora Spiric, Selina-Maria Edbauer, Ronald Janeček and Pele Loriano, the song was recorded in Prague and Zurich.

The song will officially be released at 07:40 CET on “Ö3-Wecker”, with the official music video revealed on ORF 2 at “Guten Morgen Österreich” at 08:50 CET. Listen to the song release live here.

🇮🇱 Israel – “Unicorn” Release Show – 20:10 CET

“Unicorn” was created by Doron Medalie, May Sfadia, Yinon Yahel and Noa Kirel. The song will be revealed in a special evening broadcast on KAN 11 tonight from 20:10 CET.

Noa Kirel was born on April 10 2001 in Ra’anana in central Israel. She released her debut single “Medabrim” (Talking) in 2015 and soon followed it up with other successful singles, including her first English-language single “Drum” in 2019. She has won the MTV Europe Music Award for Best Israeli Artist every year 2017. She also performed at Miss Universe 2021, which was held in Eilat in southern Israel.
