Poland: Lowest Junior Eurovision Audience Since 2018

Poland recorded its lowest audience for a Junior Eurovision Song Contest since 2018, for the final of the 2022 contest.

TVP saw its lowest audience for a Junior Eurovision Song Contest final since it won the competition in Minsk, Belarus in 2018. According to MOR an average of 2.1 million viewers watched the competition across TVP 1, TVP ABC and TVP Polonia, with Nielsen Media reporting a share of 15.1% of the viewing audience.

At its peak according to MOR 3.2 million viewers were watching the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022, down from a peak of 4.9 million for 2021 final. Poland is however likely to remain the largest audience for the competition for the fourth contest in a row.

The viewing figures reported for Junior Eurovision 2022 are:

  • France – 1,110,000 viewers – 8.9% share
  • Germany – 170,000 viewers – 2.1% share
  • Ireland – 15,300 – 2.1% share
  • Italy – 1,523,000 viewers – 11.7% share
  • Netherlands – 279,000 viewers – 1.7% share
  • Poland – 2,100,000 viewers – 15.1% share
  • Portugal – 319,400 viewers – 3.4/8.8% share
  • Spain – 1,183,000 viewers – 10.1% share

Laura finished 10th for Poland in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022. Laura performed “To the Moon” scoring a total of 95 points, Poland placed ahead of Italy after scoring points from nine juries compared to Italy’s eight juries.
