The Slovenian Eurovision entrant from 2001, who achieved Slovenia’s best Eurovision result up to date – Nuša Derenda, will be celebrating her 25th music anniversary with a huge concert in Ljubljana. The concert will take place in “Galluseva dvorana” in the Cankarjev dom, on the 24th of April at 19:30.
Nuša Derenda represented Slovenia in the 2001 Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen with the song “Energy”, and finished in 7th place in the Grand Final, which is still Slovenia’s best ever result in the Contest. She later went on to win multiple other national and international festivals. She tried to come back to Eurovision multiple times, and always finished in the top of the scoreboard – in 2003 with “Prvič in zadnjič”, in 2005 with “Noe, Noe”, in 2010 with “Sanjajva”, and in 2016 with “Tip Top”. She is also known as a big Eurovision fan, as she often covers Eurovision hits in her concerts and her performances.
Tickets for the concert are available on this website, and the prices start at only 20 EUR. Nuša will be joined by the Symphonic Orchestra of RTV Slovenia, as well as some special guests which are yet to be announced.
