PBS has this evening released snippets of the songs that will compete in the Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022.
30-second long snippets of the songs competing in the Maltese selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022 have been released. PBS has published the snippets of the sixteen competing songs just over a week before the Maltese national final will be held on October 2. You can listen to all the songs below:
The sixteen participants in the Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022 are:
- Emma Kate Formosa – “Bounce”
- Gaia Gambuzza – “Diamonds in the Skies”
- Shanzay Mangion – “Heartbeat”
- Kaylyn Mallia – “Here I Am”
- Aaliyah Cassar – “Infinity”
- Rih and Bri – “Karma”
- Cassidy Gauci – “Light Up”
- Naomi Busuttil – “Little Cheeky”
- Cesca Galea – “See the Invisible”
- Kayleen Mercicea – “Shooting Star”
- Andrea Camilleri – “Spark”
- Ma Girlz – “Stereo”
- Charelle Micallef – “The Extra Miles”
- Kensley Ciappara – “Tliet Xadini” (Three monkeys)
- Isis Jade Miller – “Unbreakable”
- Geneve Dimech – “With You By My Side”
The live final will take place on October 2. The results of the final will be decided by a jury (75%) and public voting (25%). Only the results of the top three songs will be revealed. In case of a tie, the jury vote will take preference.
Ike & Kaya represented Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with the song “My Home”. They finished 12th in the final with 97 points.
