The final of Sanremo Giovani 2022 was held last night with six artists qualifying for Festival di Sanremo 2023.
Sanremo Giovani took place yesterday evening where twelve up-and-coming artists competed for a chance to participate in Festival di Sanremo 2023. The twelve artists were selected from Area Sanremo and open applications for the competition.
The participants in Sanremo Giovani 2022 were (Qualifiers in bold):
- gIANMARIA – “La città che odi” (The city you hate)
- Giuse The Lizia – “Sincera” (Sincere)
- Maninni – “Mille porte” (A thousand doors)
- Mida – “Malditè”
- OLLY – “L’anima balla” (The soul dances)
- Sethu – “Sottoterra” (Underground)
- Shari – “Sotto Voce” (Whisper)
- Will – “Le cose più importanti” (The most important things)
- Colla Zio – “Asfalto” (Asphalt)
- Fiat 131 – “Pupille” (Pupils)
- Noor – “La tua Amelie” (Your Amelie)
- Romeo & Drill – “Giorno di scuola” (School day)
Also revealed during Sanremo Giovani 2022 are the titles of the songs that the twenty-two previously announced participants in Sanremo 2023 will perform. The artists and song titles are:

Festival di Sanremo 2023 will be held from February 7 to 11. The contest will feature 28 artists. All 28 artists will be competing with songs that are not released until the night of the performances.
The fourth evening of the show will be dedicated to covers of Italian or international songs released between January 1, 1960 and December 31, 1999. The way in which the winner of the Festival di Sanremo 2023 is chosen remains the same as in recent years. The winner of the Festival di Sanremo 2023 will represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.
