Noa Kirel will perform “Unicorn” for Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool, United Kingdom.
The title of the Israeli entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 has been revealed as “Unicorn”. The song was selected by Noa Kirel, who was involved in the creation of a number of different potential entries ahead of making a final decision.
The song was created by Doron Medalie, May Sfadia, Yinon Yahel and Noa Kirel. The song will be revealed for the first time in about two months time during a special evening broadcast on KAN 11.
Noa Kirel was born on April 10 2001 in Ra’anana in central Israel. She released her debut single “Medabrim” (Talking) in 2015 and soon followed it up with other successful singles, including her first English-language single “Drum” in 2019. She has won the MTV Europe Music Award for Best Israeli Artist every year 2017. She also performed at Miss Universe 2021, which was held in Eilat in southern Israel.
