Over 1.8 million viewers watched on France 2 as France took its second victory in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
An average of 1.11 million viewers watched the Grand Final of Junior Eurovision 2022 yesterday evening live from Yerevan, Armenia. The average viewing audience is the lowest since the 2019 contest in Gliwice, Poland, yesterdays final had an audience share of 8.9%.
France Télévisions has reported that the viewing audience peaked at over 1.8 million viewers during the voting as Lissandro was crowned the winner of the contest.
The viewing figures reported for Junior Eurovision 2022 are:
- France – 1,110,000 viewers – 8.9% share
- Netherlands – 279,000 viewers – 1.7% share
- Spain – 1,183,000 viewers – 10.1% share
Lissandro won Junior Eurovision 2022 for France with “Oh Maman!”, he scored a total of 203 points and finished 3rd in the online vote. France Televisions has already confirmed that they will host the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2023.
