Maltese broadcaster PBS has announced the artists that will be competing in Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023.
The Maltese broadcaster PBS has unveiled the twenty-four Semi-Finalists who will take the stage in the Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The live performances will be showcased in two Semi-Finals, scheduled to air on TVM on July 22nd and 29th, 2023. The twenty-four Semi-Finalists are:

This year’s MJESC edition is different from recent years, as it aims to determine the representative of Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Nice, France. Instead of selecting the song for Malta, the focus is shifting to finding the perfect voice to carry Malta’s flag.
Two Semi-Finals are to be held on July 22 and 29 featuring twelve singers each. The Live Show will be held on August 5, which will determine the twelve finalists. In the final on August 12, the winner will be determined by 80% jury voting and 20% public televote.
In September PBS will launch the search for the Maltese song for Nice, France. Composers and songwriters will be invited to submit songs for the winning artist to perform. The winning song will be announced on September 15.
Finally, the decisive moment will arrive on August 12th, as the expert jury and televote determine the crowned victor of MJESC 2023. The winner shall claim the title, earning the honor of representing Malta on the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Nice.
Following the conclusion of MJESC, PBS will extend an invitation to composers and writers to submit their original compositions. The chosen song goes to the victorious artist, who will grace the JESC 2023 with their performance.
