Iru Khechanovi has revealed on social media that the “final touches” are being made to her song for Eurovision.
Posting on social media the Georgian representative for Eurovision 2023 has revealed that her song is now in its final production stages. The singer last night posted a story stating that the “final touches” were being made in the studio to the song she will perform in Liverpool, United Kingdom.
Iru Khechanovi is working with Giga Kukhiadnidze who has written all three of Georgia’s Junior Eurovision winning songs. The genre of the song that she will perform at Eurovision has not been revealed.
Iru Khechanovi won the right to represent Georgia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool following her win of The Voice of Georgia. Iru has previously represented Georgia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in 2011 she won the contest as part of Candy Music in Yerevan, Armenia.
Iru Khechanovi will perform in the second half of the second semi-final on May 11.
