The tenth artist in our Who Is for Eurovision 2023 is Reiley from Denmark.
Rani Petersen, better known as Reiley, was born on November 24 2002 in Tórshavn in the Faroe Islands. In 2019, he started uploading song covers to TikTok, where he eventually gained over 10 million followers. His debut single “Let It Ring” was released in 2021.
Reiley was selected to represent Denmark at Eurovision 2023 after winning Dansk Melodi Grand Prix. He received 43% of the vote in the superfinal. He is the first Faroese artist to ever represent Denmark at Eurovision.
The song that Reiley will perform in Liverpool is called “Breaking My Heart”. It was written and composed by Bård Mathias Bonsaksen, Hilda Stenmalm, Sivert Hjeltnes Hagtvet and Reiley himself.
Reiley will perform in the first half of second semi-final on May 11.
